Ranks at the Brickdam Police Station arrested three women this morning who attempted to bribe one of their colleagues.
The women, Pamela Gobin, 43; Latoya Tappin, 27; and Annesa Maddison, 36; offered Police Sergeant, George a total of $440,000 to release three men, who were arrested for the possession of illegal firearms on September 26, 2018.
The men have been identified as 21-year-old Mario Persaud; Kevon Dickie, 29; and Kurk Maddison, 31.
According to a police source, Gobin offered $200,000 while Tappin and Maddison offered $120,000 each. The women have been detained and will be charged soon.
The cash has been lodged at the station.
