An argument between a couple ended tragically this morning when a woman stabbed the father of her three children to death at their Plaisance, East Coast Demerara (ECD) home.
Dead is 38-year-old, Victor Roberts, of Lot 41 Prince Williams Street, Plaisance.
The father of three was stabbed once to the heart and died on the spot. The suspect who has been identified as “Melissa” was arrested. She is assisting with the investigation.
According to information received, neighbours heard the couple arguing just before the 38-year-old man was killed. It is unclear what caused the argument. However, there are reports that the couple fought a lot. In fact, the deceased was previously stabbed by the woman during an argument.
An investigation is ongoing.
