The police are hunting for two men who attacked and robbed a tourist who came on the M.S. Serenissima cruise ship which docked in Georgetown yesterday.
Niel Horrocks, 40, a male caucasian, was robbed this morning in the vicinity of Mohamed’s Enterprise at Lombard Street, Georgetown.
The victim was robbed of an iPhone; $120 US currency and a Master Card. According to information received, the victim left Palm Court in a taxi and stopped at Mohamed’s Enterprise on Lombard Street, Georgetown.
While walking, he was pounced upon by two males on a motorcycle.
The victim received injuries to his hands and feet. He was treated for his injuries by a doctor onboard the cruise ship.
No one has been arrested as yet.
Yesterday morning, the Australian based cruise ship with 70 tourists docked in Georgetown.
All the tourists were seen walking around in the city and shopping.
