Caribbean Airlines, Guyana’s national flag carrier, has launched its newest product – My Caribbean Vacations and Tours – which is expected to save travellers time and money by allowing them to book airfare, hotels, tours, hotel transfers and more in a single, convenient transaction.
In an announcement, the airline said that packages can be booked directly with My Caribbean Vacations and Tours via www.vacations.caribbean-airlines.com.
“My Caribbean Vacations and Tours is our newest product. This new programme will provide our customers with value, convenience, and the professional service they have come to expect from our airline, on one platform,” said Garvin Medera, Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Airlines.
Mr. Medera continued, “Caribbean Airlines is passionate about creating world-class vacation experiences for our customers, right here in the Caribbean and around the world.”
My Caribbean Vacations and Tours will be rolled out in phases. Initially, packages will be available to limited destinations, with more options being added in the coming months.
Caribbean Airlines’ technology partner for this exciting initiative is Busy Rooms, which will supply a state-of-the-art booking system and platform where travellers can book specially crafted vacation packages. The airline will also collaborate with Tourist Boards, Hotel Associations, and Tour Operator Associations to market various destinations through My Caribbean Vacations and Tours. The platform is said to be dynamic and customisable and travellers can create packages to suit their budget by length of stay, number of persons and the experience they seek (bed and breakfast, all-inclusive, etc.)
My Caribbean Vacations and Tours will also offer special promotions with highlighted partners and will initially focus on: Adventure and Eco Tourism – Kite Surfing, Diving, Hikes to hidden Gems, Bird Watching, etc; Wellness; Carnivals; Music and entertainment; Sun, Sea and Sand; Culture and Gastronomy and Orlando vacations. These great deals will be found on the Caribbean Airlines website as well as communicated through emails, Facebook, Twitter and other channels, the airline has announced.
