With its eyes set on attracting investors by showcasing economic development in Guyana, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) on Friday last launched the 10th edition of its signature publication, The Business Guyana Magazine.
It was launched under the theme “Guyana: Potential Unleashed”.
In excess of 5,500 copies of the magazine have been published annually and distributed globally through Guyana’s embassies, high commissions, foreign missions present in Guyana, international trade shows, and through the Chamber’s extensive domestic and international network of stakeholders.
For this 10th edition of the Business Guyana Magazine, a statement issued by the GCCI said, “We illustrate how a petroleum sector can facilitate non-hydrocarbon sector growth with the goal being the development of a balanced and diversified economy. Guyana is a nation rich in natural resources and the Chamber is cognizant of the immense potential of the hydrocarbon sector to drive economic growth.”
It added, “The Chamber is equally cognizant of the need to facilitate the growth of other sectors. It is our hope that this edition of the Business Guyana Magazine is helpful in answering the questions about Guyana as we provide an overview of the investment opportunities available in all sectors.”
Copies of the 2019 Business Guyana Magazine will be available to the public on July 20, 2019, at the Chamber’s Secretariat located at 156 Waterloo Street, free of charge.
