If you are a customer of the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) and you have been unsuccessful in browsing the web or simply access your email or chats on your mobile device, then you may be one of the persons affected by an outage.
Based on reports reaching this publication, the company is currently experiencing some unusual difficulties with its mobile data service.
According to the company in a statement on this development, “Some [customers] have been impacted by a recent outage that has affected mobile data.”
The company has, however, assured that, “The matter is currently being assessed and those who have lost mobile data will be reimbursed soonest.”
The company has also committed to ensuring that measures will be put in place to diminish the likelihood of such a reoccurrence, adding that “GTT apologises for this inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding as we work to remedy the situation.”
