Chairperson of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM, retired Justice Claudette Singh has declared that general and regional elections must be held before the end of 2019.
This declaration was made in a meeting today between Justice Singh and a team from the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) opposition headed by Opposition Leader, Bharrat Jagdeo.
