Police are investigating the death of a 67-year-old woman, who was found strangled in her Lot 241 Bourda Street, Georgetown home last night.
The deceased has been identified as Marva Oudkerk. Her body was discovered around 18:30 hrs yesterday.
According to information received, the deceased was found lying on a bed with a mosquito net tightly wrapped around her neck. Police suspected that she was killed sometime between 16:30 hrs on Wednesday and the time her body was found.
No arrest has been made as yet.
