Investigators were trying to identify the decomposed remains of a man found in a drain at Patentia, West Bank Demerara (WBD) this morning.
A plastic bag was discovered tied over the deceased’s head and there were marks of violence about the body.
It is suspected that the victim might have been killed elsewhere and his body was dumped in the drain since it was only this morning residents discovered the remains which had already started to decompose.
The body was clad in a pair of blue jeans. He was not wearing any shirt or footwear. It was taken to the Ezekiel Funeral Home.
