A Post Mortem examination performed this morning by Dr. Nehaul Singh at the Ezekiel Funeral Parlour has revealed that 24-year-old Vishaul Kevin Singh murdered his married girlfriend then committed suicide.
Subrina “Priya” Nandram, a 25-year-old mother of two died from manual strangulation. The PM also showed that she was beaten before she was killed. She had traumas to her body, including breast.
Singh, on the other hand, died from pesticide poisoning. It was initially suspected that both Singh and Nandram committed suicide together from the way their bodies were found. There were no visible marks of violence.
Additionally, no one from the Aracari Resort located at Lot 60 Plantation Versailles, West Bank Demerara (WBD) reported hearing any unusual sounds coming from the couple’s room.
The couple was discovered naked and facing each other in the hotel’s bathtub. A bottle containing an agricultural chemical called Farmizone was found at the scene. Its green liquid content was seen thrown all over their rented room.
A police source said that several Banks and Stag beer bottles were also seen in the room.
