A 15-year-old school girl is said to be in a critical condition at the Linden Hospital Complex after being stabbed to her side by a female classmate.
The victim has been identified as Shashanani Williams. She attends the Linden Foundation Secondary School. She was attacked just after 15:00 hrs today a short distance from the school.
A video of the attack is being circulated on social media. In the video, the suspect can be heard saying, “We aint fighting for no boy, we fighting because this girl disrespect me and I aint do she nothing.”
A group of male and female students surrounded the duo and cheered as they attacked each other. Finally, the victim was seen holding her side with the knife protruding. The suspect ran away.
No one has been arrested as yet.
