Two sisters were this morning arrested by the police after they attacked and stabbed one of their female classmates with a knife—a short distance from the Linden Foundation Secondary School yesterday afternoon.
The victim, Shashanani Williams is hospitalized at the Linden Hospital Complex. Her condition is listed as stable.
Video footage showed Williams and one of the siblings fighting when the second sibling appeared with a knife and stabbed the victim to her side. Both girls ran away, leaving their victim behind.
The attack occurred in front of a group of female and male students. No one intervened. Instead, they cheered as the girls attacked each other.
In the video, one of the sisters can be heard saying, “We aint fighting for no boy, we fighting because this girl disrespect me and I aint do she nothing.”
It is unclear how the police will proceed with this case since the suspects are minors.
