After escaping several execution attempts on his life, ex-cop Teon Allen called “Spoil Child” was today badly wounded and his girlfriend killed when gunmen opened fire on them at Amelia’s Ward, Linden.
Linden Commander, Huge Winter, has confirmed the shooting. He said that Allen is currently hospitalized at the McKenzie hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Colissa Hunte.
There were multiple execution attempts on Allen’s life over the past years by a rival gang that is being headed by a Guyanese residing in Cayenne. The most recent attempt was in October last when three men opened fire on him at the La Penitence Market in Georgetown.
Allen ended up escaping but not before shooting one of his attackers, Lashawn Lewis. These men are said to be members of Allen’s rival gang.
In September, last, Allen’s cousin, Eon Williams was executed in Linden and his girlfriend was wounded when gunmen opened fire on them at Lover’s Lane. Williams’s death was said to be a direct retaliation to when Allen reportedly opened fire on the home where the mother of the rival gang leader lived.
Allen himself has had several brushes with the law and has made multiple court appearances.
