In an effort to support its customers during the Coronavirus pandemic, Citizens Bank will be waiving all ATM fees, late fees on loan payments, payroll credit fees and Electronic Transfer fees for 90 days.
Several measures are also in place for its credit customers. The financial institution said that it will defer loan payments for a period not exceeding six moths, allow for the restructuring of loans for customers whose income will be impacted by the pandemic, and determine support that can be provided for customers in overdraft. The Guyana Standard understands that fees associated with the restructuring of loans and overdrafts will also be waived for a period of 90 days.
The bank was keen to note that access to the foregoing credit facility would only be granted if the customer has been in good standing before the pandemic began. Credit customers who wish to be considered for relief are asked to make contact via email : [email protected].
