The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has increased from 33 to 37, Health Minister Volda Lawrence reported this afternoon. The number of deaths has increased from 5 to 6.
Not much is known about the latest victim at this time. All the minister revealed is that the victim is a male.
The total number of persons tested is 145, inclusive of the 37 positives (inclusive of six deaths) and 108 negatives.
Some 27 persons are in institutional quarantine.
As it relates to persons in institutional isolation, the minister reported that there are 30.
Three persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU). One person is reported as critical.
Also, seven persons who were quarantined, and three who were isolated will be going home today. They were medically cleared, the Minister said.
