No new case of the COVID-19 disease have been confirmed in Guyana. The number of confirmed cases remains at 150, inclusive of 11 deaths.
To date, the total number of persons tested is 1, 586 with the total number of negative cases being 1,436. There are currently sixty-seven (67) persons that have recovered, seventy -two (72) active cases in institutional isolation, two (2) patients in the COVID Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 11 persons in institutional quarantine.
Total number of cases globally is 5 593 631 with 353 334 deaths.
In the Region of the Americas, the total number of cases is 2 556 479 cases with 148 412 deaths.
