Director of Primary Health Care, Dr Ertenisa Hamilton says that there are no new confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus. The number of persons infected with the virus remains at 156, inclusive of 12 deaths and 92 recoveries. Eight persons would have been cleared within the last 24 hours.
To date, the total number of persons tested is 1, 876 with the number of negative cases being 1720. There are 52 active cases in institutional isolation, one patient in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 6 persons in institutional quarantine.
According to the World Health Organisation, there are 7,039, 918 cases with 404, 396 deaths globally.
In the Region of the Americas, the number of positive cases is 3, 366, 251 with 183, 950 deaths.
