Three employees, who admitted to beating and robbing their boss of a quantity of raw gold at Sandhill/Oku Landing, after he refused to pay them have been arrested.
The incident which occurred around 17:30 hrs last evening has left 62-year-old Adam Da Silva of Boa Vista, Brazil/Sandhill Landing suffering a fractured leg and multiple lacerations about his body.
He has been admitted to the Bartica Regional Hospital, and is in a stable condition. Police in a release said the stolen gold was also recovered.
