Eleven persons were charged today for breaching the anti-COVID measures.
The following cases were called at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Her Worship Crystal Lambert via video conference:
1) Rickey Benny charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, fined $10,000 dollars.
2) David Williams charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, fined $10,000 dollars.
3) Anthony Henry charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, fined $10,000 dollars.
4) Travis James charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, fined $10,000 dollars.
5) Harry Tularam charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, fined $10,000 dollars.
6) Simone Lindore charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, absent and case put off until September 14, 2020.
7) Tesha Kenswil charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, absent and case put off until September 14, 2020.
8) Montana Nurse charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, pleaded guilty and given 90hrs of Community Service.
9) Leonard Surrey with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, pleaded guilty and given 90hrs of Community Service.
10) Loraine Macgregor charged with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, case dismissed.
11) Alecia Macgregor with Breach of COVID-19 Emergency Measures, case dismissed.
