The Guyana Police Force has informed that earlier today, a tree, located in the disputed Success, East Coast Demerara, squatter settlement fell and injured several squatters.
According to police, a total of seven females were injured with one listed “serious”.
The seriously injured woman was picked up by the Police and transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. The remaining six left for the said hospital with public transportation.
No information as to their identities at this time. No work was ongoing by GuySuCo in that area, the police said.
