A Linden woman was today charged and fined for breaching the COVID-19 regulations.
41-year-old Drucilla Williams was hauled before Magistrate Wanda Fortune and pleaded guilty to the offence.
Facts of the matter stated that on April 16th, 2020, at Blueberry Hill, Wismar, Linden, she breached the COVID-19 measures that are in place to slow the spread of the deadly virus.
After listening to the facts, Magistrate Fortune imposed a fine of $16,000 on Williams or two months’ imprisonment.
