The Guyana Police Force is investigating an alleged Robbery Under Arms committed on a 28-year-old Flight Agent.
The crime was committed at Plaisance, East Coast Demerara yesterday, by two unidentified males, one armed with a hand gun.
The victim was relieved of one shoulder bag, valued at $ 9000;
One Cellphone valued $ 45,000; and $31,200.
According to the victim, she was standing in front of her yard when she was confronted by the men who held her at gun point and demanded that she hand over her valuables. She refused and one of the suspects dealt her several punches to her face before relieving her of her belongings.
The suspects made good their escape on two separate bicycles.
Enquiries are continuing.
