The Board of Directors and Executive Management of the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) have announced the reappointment of Bharat Dindyal as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the utility company. He began working in that capacity today.
“The appointment of Mr. Dindyal forms part of the Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL) plans to
modernize, expand and improve electricity supply in support of the development of Guyana,” the company said in a statement today.
Dindyal has over 26 years of experience in engineering services and operation of electric utilities.
He served as the CEO from 2006 to 2015.
