More than a month after he was allegedly struck down by the son of Guyanese Critic, 49-year-old Leonard Singh, yesterday succumbed to his injuries.
The accident occurred on November 10, 2020, at about 19:00hrs on the Annandale Public Road and involved a motor car driven by a 23-year-old male of Courbane Park, East Coast Demerara (ECD), police said.
After the accident, Singh was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) and took his last breath yesterday.
The man’s body is presently at the Georgetown Public Hospital Mortuary awaiting Post Mortem Examination (PME).
Following the accident, the Guyana Police Force (GPF) has been silent on the matter. In fact, a police report was never released. The only statement released was to inform the media that Singh succumbed.
