Two armed men executed a daring robbery on an Essequibo Coast Chinese Restaurant on Saturday.
The victims have been identified as 41-year-old Steve Sue, a businessman, and 37-year-old Yu Rong Cao, both of Charity, Essequibo Coast.
Reports are that at about 11:00 hrs, two unidentifiable masked men stormed into the restaurant and held the victims at gunpoint.
The men demanded money and valuables as they assaulted the duo in the process. They were handed two iPhones valued at $120,000 and $80,000 cash.
The men then made good their escape. Police said that the entire ordeal was captured by CCTV in the restaurant. Investigations are ongoing.
