Guyana has recorded 43 new cases of COVID-19, taking the number of those tested positive since March 2020, to 6,696. These new cases were recorded from 195 tests conducted within the last 24 hours.
The Health Ministry’s dashboard shows 402 patients in home isolation, 57 in institutional isolation and four in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The death toll stands at 170, while the number of recoveries has increased to 6, 063. The number of tests done so far is 42, 327.
There are over 90M cases globally, with close to 2M deaths as of today.
