At about 13:30 hours today, a team from the Police Crime Scene Unit and a party of other ranks, found the decomposed body of Sharida Hussein, a 48 year-old housewife of Lot 27 Pilot Street, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
The decomposed remains of the woman was found at the #48 seashore in a clump of bushes.
The body was positively identified by the deceased’s son, Joshua Samaroo. The woman’s body was escorted to the Skeldon Hospital before being taken to Anthony’s Funeral Parlour.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
