Two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died, the Health Ministry has confirmed. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 214.
The latest fatalities are one two men: a 70-year-old from Region Seven (Cuyuni- Mazaruni) and a 50-year-old from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica). They both died while receiving care at a medical facility.
