The body of Budhan Singh, an 81 year -old pensioner of Lot Block ‘R’ North Sophia, Georgetown was discovered on Thursday in a secondary state of decomposition.
Police reports indicate that the deceased was living alone at the said address for a number of years. His daughter who lives on the East Coast of Demerara said that she had visited him on January 14, 2021 but when she returned on March 25, last, he was discovered lying motionless on his bed without clothes.
Police found no signs of breakage at the home and no visible marks of violence were observed about the body.
The body is presently at the Lyken Funeral Parlor awaiting a post mortem examination.
