Director of Communications of the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, Imran Khan has confirmed that a vehicle belonging to Leader of the Opposition, Joseph Harmon, was involved in a vehicular accident on the East Coast of Demerara last evening.
Guyana Standard understands that Harmon was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Harmon has expressed gratitude to persons who have called and messaged to enquire about his wellbeing.
“We are relieved that no one was seriously injured in the accident.
The Guyana Police Force is conducting an investigation and Mr. Harmon is committed to assisting such investigation in any way necessary and will be guided by the outcome of the investigation,” Khan informed the media via a statement moments ago.
