The Ministry of Health has informed that as of March 31, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 233.
The latest fatalities are two women: a 91-year- old from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) and an 84-year-old from Region 10 (Upper Demerara- Berbice). They both died while receiving care.
