Yesterday, ranks of the Fort Wellington Police Station, led by an Inspector, went to the home of the 42-year-old, Number 30 Village, West Coast Berbice man, where marijuana was found in a barrel.
Ranks found two wrapped transparent parcels containing cannabis leaves, seeds, and stems. The drug weighed 3,928 grammes (8.6lbs). The man was told of the offence, cautioned, arrested, and escorted to the Fort Wellington Police Station.
He remains in custody as the investigaion continues.
