Two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 382.
The latest fatalities are a 73-year-old male from Region Four (4) (Demerara-Mahaica) and a 67-year-old woman from Region Three (3) (Essequibo island west Demerara). They both died while receiving care at a medical facility.
Meanwhile, the country has recorded an additional 98 cases of the virus, taking the number of confirmed cases since March 2020 to 16,822.
