Two more persons, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 424. The latest fatalities are a 51-year-old woman from Region 4 (Demerara Mahaica) and a 71-year-old male from Region 9 (Upper Takutu- Upper Essequibo) . They died while receiving care at medical facilities.
Guyana has also recorded 107 new cases, taking the total number of infections since March 2020 to 18,303.
