Two more persons, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), have died, taking the death toll to 444. The latest fatalities are a 77-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from Region 4 (Demerara-Mahaica). They died while receiving care at a medical facility.
Meanwhile, Guyana has recorded 135 new cases, taking the number of confirmed infections to 18,973.
