The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has asked that the Chief Elections Officer, Keith Lowenfield, his deputy, Roxanne Myers and Region Four’s Returning Officer (RO), Clairmont Mingo, proceed on annual leave. This was confirmed moments ago by the Commission’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Yolanda Ward.
The trio is currently facing charges stemming from their conduct during the highly contentious March 2020 General and Region elections.
