Guyana has recorded three more COVID-19 fatalities, taking the death count to 452. The Health Ministry said today that the patients were admitted with COVID-19 like symptoms but died while receiving care at medical institutions. Samples were taken at the time of admission which subsequently returned positive tests. The details on the latest fatalities are below:
The country has also recorded an additional 90 cases, increasing the number of infections to 19,234.
There are 21 patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 1414 in home isolation, 106 in institutional isolation, and seven in institutional quarantine.
