Authorities have had no luck locating the man, who allegedly jumped into the Demerara River from the Harbour Bridge around 7:20hrs yesterday.
Police say that the man reportedly parked his motorcyle, CH 4923 before leaping into the river. His jump was witnessed by police officers, who were on duty at the link.
Checks were made on the pontoons under the bridge, but no one was seen.
So far, exercises conducted by the police marine wing and the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Coast Guard have turned up empty handled. The search continues.
