The COVID-19 death count is now 507 with one more person succumbing to the virus yesterday. The latest fatality is a 73-year-old, Region Four woman, the Health Ministry has confirmed.
Meanwhile confirmed cases in the country continue to increase. The surveillance report for July 15 shows 77 new infections, taking the number of cases recorded since March 2020 to 21,351.
There are eight persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 103 in institutional isolation, 1,068 in-home isolation, and five in institutional quarantine.
Recoveries have also increased. The report shows 19,665 being medically cleared since March 2020.
Some 207,468 tests have been conducted to date.
