Two gunmen robbed a Superbet gambling shop at Bladen Hall yesterday before fleeing the scene with one of the customer’s vehicle, police say.
The incident occurred sometime around 21:10hrs just as the cashier was about to close shop.
One of the suspects approached the cashier and held her at gunpoint. The patrons, a 29-year-old upholsterer, a 49-year-old man and a 33-year-old taxi driver were all robbed during the ordeal .
The gunmen placed the victims on the ground, relieving them of $246,000, one black S5 Samsung Galaxy valued $45,000, one Red A10 cellphone valued at $46,000, and one gold chain estimated at $30,000.
The men then escaped with the taxi driver’s car, a while Fielder Wagon, HC 7599. One of the suspects was dressed in army clothing.
