Rockey Miguel, 26, of Sand Pit Essequibo Coast, was charged yesterday for the murder of his father, Archaelus Anthony Miguel, earlier this month at Grand Troolie, Island.
He appeared before Magistrate Ms. Ali-Seepaul at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him and he was not required to plea. He was remanded to prison.
The matter has been adjourned to November 24 for report.
According to reports, the now-dead man was chopped 24 times about his body.
