The Guyana Police Force (GPF) says it is in receipt of reports of a fatal incident 53 miles up the Buckhall Trail, Region Seven.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the driver of a truck and a porter are dead and at least two other persons pinned.
A party of policemen has been dispatched to the area to conduct investigations.
