One more person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 900.
The latest fatality is a 64-year-old, Region Four man. He was unvaccinated, the Health Ministry said.
Guyana has also recorded an additional 82 cases of the virus, taking confirmed infections since March 2020 to 35,252.
Some 31,328 persons have recovered.
