As the Ministry of Agriculture nears completion of its 2021 work program, seven contacts were signed today totalling $665.7M.
The big ticket project is the construction of pump station at Greenwich Park/ Barnwell Area, EBE. This is to cost just over $597.8M.
That contract was awarded to Roopan Ramoutar. The project entails the construction of two modular pump station; Two 100 codecs inclusive on R.C. Sump, structural steel pump house, supply and installation of pump units and all ancillary works. The works also include the construction of steel sheet pile revetment, rehabilitation of the drainage system and construction of the pump operator’s quarters.
Among the other contracts signed were one for the construction of an access road, bridge and fence at Garden of Eden and another for the Construction of Asphalt drying floor for the MOA at Lesbeholden, Corentyne. Those two contacts are for $22.3M and $15.3M respectively.
