The Ministry of Health (MOH) has informed that two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,050.

Guyana has also recorded an additional 12 cases, taking the number of confirmed infections since March 2020 to 39,119.
There are six patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 32 institutionally isolated, 682 in home isolation, and two in institutional quarantine.
So far, 37,349 persons have recovered.
The Ministry has conducted 419,002 tests to date.
