The Ministry of Health reported today that it recorded another death from the Coronavirus pandemic. The latest fatality is a 79-year-old woman from East Berbice- Corentyne. She was reportedly unvaccinated. The total number of COVID-19 deaths now stands at 1055.
With respect to other statistics, 281 new cases have been recorded, taking the total confirmed cases to 40,060.
To date, 37, 708 Guyanese have recovered after contracting the Coronavirus.
