Jamal Reagon Forde, called “Sugar,” 29, a Labourer of Lot 969 Phase 1 B Wisroc, Wismar Linden was slapped with two charges today: rape of a child under 16 years of age and the attempted murder of a Community Policing Group (CPG) officer.
He appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Ms. Wanda Fortune. He was not required to plea to the indictable charge that was read to him.
He was charged with the offence of Attempt to Commit Murder, Contrary to Section 103 (c) of the Criminal Law Offences Act Chapter 8:01 and was remanded to prison until January 31, 2022. Advice is still being sought for the offence of rape.
