Four more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,138.

Guyana has also recorded 173 new cases, taking confirmed infections since March 2020 to 57,400 from 494,245 tests. There are 20 persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 184 in institutional isolation, 13,175 in home isolation, and 14 in institutional quarantine.
