Police in Regional Division 7 are investigating an allegation of rape made by a 17-year-old woman, which is reported to have occurred on Friday, February 4, 2022.
The suspect and victim are known to each other, and it is alleged that the suspect visited the victim’s home when she was alone and forcefully committed the act against her consent.
When the victim regained consciousness, she raised an alarm and a report was made to the police, which led to the suspect being arrested as further investigations are underway.
