Five more persons who tested positive with COVID-19 have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,208, the Health Ministry reported this afternoon.
Guyana has also recorded 48 new cases, taking confirmed infections since March 2020 to 62,585 from 530,557 tests.
There are 11 persons in the ICU, 77 in institutional isolation, 864 in home isolation, and 13 in institutional quarantine.
